Our Sweet Tiny Pea, the Sunny Sunshine of our life, at age 14 with lots of difficult health issues under her belt — airway disease, diabetes — still enjoys being a cat. Her earnest embrace of life, like that goodwill doggie's, the one who walks erect because she hasn't any forelegs, is an inspiration and a source of joy. Remarkable what the veterinarian's art can do to push back the ravages of time. Only this morning she woke us in the wee hours with a yowling. Rising from our bed and turning on the lights, we discovered her going for the jugular of a large moth. Do moths have jugulars?
Beautiful Tiny in her element; could anything be more delightful? Wonderful way to end a Friday!
