This is John McCain waiting for Barack Obama to stumble into his web. Just outside the back door a Funnel Web spider built a top-shelf web spiralling out of the center of a leaf of our totally awesome Hosta sieboldiana 'Elegans'. They can build their webs anywhere, but it struck us that it doesn't get any better than spiralling out of the center of an 'Elegans' leaf. They are just like us, some much more discriminating than others.
As spiders spin, Tiny out on the top of the compost box out back continues to see things we don't.
