The view from the bottom of our front steps looking west this morning as the Hunter's Full Moon was setting and a Hannaford's truck was speeding by in the direction of the Boston Market Terminal on the other side of town to stock up on produce to take up to Goomp's local Hannafords down east, where we will be shopping around this time tomorrow in preparation for a birthday luncheon on Sunday. Full disclosure: Moon size exaggerated for dramatic effect by cutting and pasting from another, zoomed-in image taken moments earlier.
This one's for Elisson, who challenged us -- in comments to our recent post "When madness struck" -- to push our animated giffing up a notch by leaping into the perilous waters of "tweening" :
It's trickier to do a good, clean lap dissolve, but I figured out how, by using layer transparency and the tweening function.
Maybe the web will replace TV as well as the Paper of record.

The so-called "paper of record" has been replaced by so many different sets of independent, intelligent fingers that one wonders how we ever felt we NEEDED The Old Grey Lady at all!
Have a great weekend Sissy and family, love to the two beautiful "kids" and of course to the wise without being stuffy Goomp.

Simply amazing...
The Moon looks unreal.
Larger than life itself.

Not only larger than life but larger than your average full moon: The Biggest Full Moon of 2007.
