Egad. We have tons of images of goings-on at the New England Sand Sculpting Festival down Revere Beach early morning -- plus a couple of the usual cat pics -- ready to go but haven't been able to upload all day. 'Waiting for word from Typepad, which has been totally unresponsive to our calls for help. Sigh.
Enthroned on one of the regal cast-iron chairs on the terrace this afternoon, miniature Lion King Baby Cakes takes in the faunal sights and sounds -- birds, squirrels, insects -- of a perfect summer day in Chelsea-by-the-Sea.
Update: Callooh! Callay! Just after we posted this sad tale, the folks at Typepad got back to us. They didn't know what was wrong but were ready -- if belatedly -- to help, and held our hand as we stumbled our way to a solution. As the images here of Mr. Handsome show, we're back in business. It had to do with how Photoshop saved our images this morning. For some unknown reason, even as we saved our files as jpegs, it left off the .jpg ending -- as in beautifulboykitty.jpg for the above -- and thus Typepad's program didn't recognize them as picture files.
The solution: We simply resaved each with a new name -- as in beautifulboykitty2.jpg -- and Photoshop got with the program.
