Goomp in his study yesterday afternoon calls to mind St. Jerome in his. Always ahead of his time with the latest high tech, the Goompster now enjoys a flat screen monitor with Windows XP under the hood.
We went down Goomp's over the weekend in order to help him take Mr. Perkins (foreground) -- Purrky -- to the vet for his annual checkup and shots. Back home with a clean bill of health, Purrk lingered in his cat carrier, enjoying the attention of our own Baby Cakes, who found the whole thing totally fascinating. Lots of nose meeping but not a single snarl or hiss. As the vet said, Purrky's a keeper.
Back home in Chelsea-by-the-Sea this afternoon, we caught the light fantastic with our camera's eye as the sun's waning rays once again lent magic to the everyday trappings of the studio.
Update: More magic at the Carnival of the Cats #134 on All Cats Day at House of the (Mostly) Black Cats.
Fantastic photos.

WooHoo - a glimpse of Goomp. *grin* And all the cute kitties. I'm so glad Purrky is vetted and given the a-okay.

Purrky is exceptionally pretty (with no small resemblance to my beloved Tim); Baby Cakes is gorgeous. You know I'm madly in love with your cats! And you will be in love with mine once I get the digital camera thingie up and running! I'm leaning toward the Nikon.
