Baby gazes out the window this morning, contemplating the news that his sister (Tiny, pictured on Christmas card, lower left) is coming home after her three-day hospital stay for breathing problems associated with feline asthma.
Here's the longed-for report issued earlier this morning by Dr. Grossbard from Angell Memorial:
Tiny is resting quietly and very friendly and more affectionate now that she is feeling better. She was able to stay out of the oxygen overnight. Her respiration rate and effort are much improved. Oral steroid therapy seems to be helping. She may go home this morning at 10.
Goomp expressed it best when we told him by email this morning:
The whole family will be joyous. Maybe even Baby.
We're not sure about Baby, but as for the rest of us, a Tiny miracle. For more small miracles, be sure to visit the Friday Ark at Modulator, not to mention the delicious "94th Feline Fest" -- AKA Carnival of the Cats -- hosted this week by Claudius, Nicholson and Ellie of pages turned.
Oh, thank goodness. I couldn't enjoy breakfast until I read the good news. God bless your happy family.

I'm running late this morning, but didn't want to dash out for coffee until I checked up on Tiny. I'm so very happy - woo hoo! Sending hugs and pets for her.
