As temperatures and the dewpoint rise on this Dog Day afternoon, Tiny keeps her cool by bedding down among the Boston Ferns summering on the terrace beneath the Silver Maple.
"I've been looking at cats for 24 hours straight, and I think I've pretty much lost it," writes Laurence Simon, the Father of All Catbloggers, coming down off 24 hours of steady blogging for The Cat Welfare Society of Israel in The Blogathon in memory of the late, great Edloe. We are proud to count ourselves among the sponsors of his tireless -- tired but happy? -- efforts on behalf of the Chosen Cats. For all cats all the time, head on over to TBIFOC for the 72nd Carnival of the Cats.
With the close up and the composition it looks like a painting of the Tiny rather than a photo.

If there is anything on this earth more mesmerizing than a cat, I can't come up with it very quickly. I do know that a day spent in the company of my magnificent Sam and the hilarious Tim is a day well spent, always.

What a beautiful kitty. I especially love the pink paw pads.
