The view from the porch by the dawn's early light.
We were going for a moon shot this morning -- waning gibbous Strawberry Moon one day after yesterday's full moon -- but the timing and framing weren't right. Instead we stumbled upon this dazzling image of the Meridian Street Bridge across the street -- typically rust-colored in the blanching daylight but now glowing orange with the low-angled rays of sunrise -- perfectly reflected in the Chelsea Creek. Boston's breathtaking new landmark, the Bunker Hill Bridge, is suspended in the middle distance, with bits of the skyline beyond.
