Babe does a 180, heading toward the kitchen in a ploy to get us to follow him and hand out treats. Note right ear curved back, listening for clues as to our next move.
We're heading out for the heartland tomorrow morning to mourn the loss and celebrate the life of Terry, the nephew who suddenly passed away on Saturday. Snow in the forecast. Will return Thursday evening. Until then, Tiny and Baby are in charge. The Pet Nanny will stop by twice a day. Probably won't be able to blog (Gasp: Withdrawal symptoms . . .) till we get back.
Update: Speaking of cats, be sure to check out this week's Carnival of the Cats at Running Scared. If you're like us, you can never get enough of nature's perfect pood.
Wishing you a safe - uneventful - trip since the reason for trip is enough to deal with.
