"The FlipFlop makes it fun to relax. In its UP position, you sit in a comfort chair that reclines the right amount to put you at ease, yet upright enough for reading [and blogging]" from The Comfort Store.
This one's for two of the stalwarts of the blogosphere, Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit and Ed Morrissey of Captain's Quarters, both spending anxious hours Hospiblogging as their beloved wives recover from difficult medical procedures. Fortunately, their hundreds of thousands of readers are united in warm thoughts and prayer. Now, if only hospital administrators were smart enough to keep up with the all-seeing InstaPundit:
Meanwhile, I observe that hospitals are boring and uncomfortable places, something that I have noticed before, and suggest that every room should have a comfy chair and a high-speed Internet connection. This room, alas, has neither. Fortunately, I brought my own Internet connection. I wish I'd brought a chair, too.
The brave optimism and humor of our fellow bloggers never fails to render us teary eyed with sympathy and awe.
Update: Through it all, these Masters of the Blogosphere continue to post so that -- as Glenn Reynolds puts it -- "you all won't be totally bored." We would never. And thanks for the Lanche, fergossake.
