Back by popular demand -- you saw it here first -- Photoshop montage of Michael Moore as Humpty Dumpty (Illustrations for Mother Goose in Prose by Maxfield Parrish)
"So was I right?" asks Christopher Wavrin of Commentary Page [via InstaPundit], citing his November 10, 2004 prediction -- now happily fulfilled -- that the Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 would be passed over by the Academy:
It can be argued that Michael Moore helped Kerry lose this one. And there may very well be a backlash against Moore and that, possibly, could lead Academy voters to go sour on him.
Chris called it re the Academy Awards, but we were predicting Moore's fall way back on July 29 with our Humpty Dumpty post:
Is the responsible Left (whassat?) beginning to see the light? It's being reported that Moore has become radioactive to Kerry & Company as they attempt to reposition themselves toward the center. Meanwhile, Moore continues to entertain delusions of grandeur. A soundbite from the Fleet Center yesterday:
The minute Kerry moves into the White House next January, I'll be turning my camera on him.
Careful, Michael. Have you forgotten that pride goeth before a fall?
All of Moore's horses and all of Moore's men can't put his "good name" together again.
