"And we all danced the night away"

We're the aunt of this enchanting creature on Newt's arm last night.

"Needless to say, my feet are in a lot of pain, but it is worth it because last night was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!" writes our Beltway correspondent, the Divine Miss Heather:

I thought you might enjoy these pictures of me. I went to the Democracy Ball, and it was so much fun. Bush and his VP made appearances with their wives, who were both looking lovely. The bands were fabulous, and we all danced the night away.

Dancing -- and schmoozing -- for all us old folks at home out here in the sticks. You do us proud, little love.
