More thoughts re the Christmas card -- the Babe last year posing in front of the tree. Too cute? Tuck prefers something more architectural, like last year's image of the house all lit up with little white lights. In the olden days he did awesome pen-and-ink drawings of Trinity Church one year and the house from different perspectives other years. If it were up to us, we could go in any direction . . . a close-up of the felt ornaments themselves in their storage box, for example:
Of how about the Christmas cookies we made last year based upon the felt ornaments that were based upon cookie cutters:
All cute and Christmassy, but we know what Tuck means. It requires a certain gravitas. Back to the drawing board.
Ah, that tree, that fabulous tree, so beautiful and dazzling it almost hurts to look at it. The model tree, in my mind, and the source of many happy memories!
