'Know what's too exciting for words? Checking out the Site Meter stats, and there's Omar of Iraq the Model, funning us about his desire for a Spirit of America baseball hat and giving us a lovely link in our mutual Spirit of America campaign to help our Iraqi brethren get their feet on the ground. Omar has chosen to support "Friends of Democracy," while we went for the ladies that sew, but we're all in this together, and it's thrilling to touch hearts and minds across the globe with formerly oppressed fellow beings who treasure freedom as we do. Omar and Mohammed and Ali seem like dear friends to so many of us 'merkins out here in the hinterlands. What a rush to see our own blog mentioned in such distinguished company.
Like Omar, we really WOULD like one of those Spirit of America baseball hats, of course, and the way things are going, it's looking pretty good. We're planning a concentrated e-mail campaign to everyone we know tomorrow, so if you're on our list, watch your wallet!
