Baby Cakes inspects Tuck's born-again vintage kitchen stool (perhaps 25 years old, original furniture from our salad days). To bring it back to life for duty as craftsman's bench in the shop, Mr. Handyman cut away and discarded the old rush seat, disassembled, rebuilt and refinished the entire wooden structure -- including creating two new rungs out of broomstick bits -- and wove a lovely new seat using 2-ply sisal twine. Final step will be shellacking the seat. Then turn it around, and Crate and Barrel would be proud to call it one of their own (might have been from there originally, come to think of it).
