The light fantastic

Albedo -- reflected light, as with moonlight -- not a pretty word, but the effects are often magical. Sunlight from the west reflected off the neighbor's window to the east back in through our kitchen window turns an everyday still life into a work of art. Note cat-head lamp at right. Reminds us of last March, although that may have been direct morning light.
