Contemplating today's lovely spike, we hark back to our first Instalanche (there will never be anything sweeter):
A rush of dopamine at our first Instalanche, followed by dopamine's falling at our first really nasty comment . . . At such a time, it is helpful to remember that "dopamine's action can explain both the highs of romantic passion (dopamine rising) and the lows of rejection (dopamine falling).
The importance of being noticed is where it's at.

It calls to mind our previous post re the neurological basis of revenge. We hate and fear our human nature and build great bulwarks of denial. But yet, but yet. We are only human. It's the age-old tragic view vs. utopian view of human nature. Liberals please take note.

Update next morning: 'Looks like we topped off at 1,600 plus. Cute, huh?
