"UN inspectors: Saddam shipped out WMD before war and after," headlines the World Tribune:
The UN Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission briefed the Security Council on new findings that could help trace the whereabouts of Saddam's missile and WMD program.
The briefing contained satellite photographs that demonstrated the speed with which Saddam dismantled his missile and WMD sites before and during the war. Council members were shown photographs of a ballistic missile site outside Baghdad in May 2003, and then saw a satellite image of the same location in February 2004, in which facilities had disappeared.
Bush lied, right?

I wonder after the Reagan tributes begin to fade if this will be picked up. This is a double-edged sword for both sides. If Bush stands on this, he's open to criticism that he failed to "plan" for the possibility that the WMD would be shipped out, leading to even greater danger than when they were in the hands of Saddam.
I think this is valid, but when the charges are coming from people who have for the last year screamed that "BUSH LIED!!!" it may roll right off his back.
We'll see.

How come the mass media isn't trumpeting this discovery that reaffirms the intelligence and integrity of our president?
