"Requesting permission to store information on your computer"

Baby, posing early morning amongst the current crop of cards -- Christmas, birthday and a few left over from Halloween -- is not amused at the interruption of poll access at The Weblog Awards 2006, where sisu is in the running for Best of the Top 250 Blogs. How can you vote early and often if the polling booth is closed?

Something fishy is going on at The Weblog Awards 2006. When we tried to vote for our favorites this morning, the below request for "permission to store information on your computer" popped up.

Are Mayor Daley's spiritual descendants tampering with the ballot box? We sent an email to the folks at Wizbang! and will let you know as soon as things are back to normal so you can get out and vote for sisu in the Best of the Top 250 Blogs category! Only two more voting ops, today and tomorrow. The last time we checked, sisu had 158 votes. Thanks to our wonderful family and friends for GOTV.

UPDATE: Kevin Aylward of Wizbang! emails to say "that's a normal function of Flash.  Just click 'Allow' and everything will work fine." Who knew?
