To focus the feline mind

Sayplease

Forget about the portrait photographer's classic "Watch the birdie." Maybe it would work if we had a live bird in hand. Baby and Tiny stand at attention as we shamelessly enlist Tuck (off camera, right) to offer scraps of beef to get 'em to sit pretty for the camera.

Normally, were you to catch the siblings this close to each other, the fur would be flying.  There is nothing like the prospect of raw meat to focus the feline mind.

Update:  The 69th Carnival of the Cats is open for business over at Boxing Alcibiades.

Speaking of the light fantastic! Love those violet hues.

This is a refreshing focus from the stupidity of mudslinging politics.

More gorgeous photos from Sissy Willis.

I love the purple/green effect in this one. Monkeyed with the channels? Or is it really just the lighting?

Makes me envious, it does.

I think I did do a little monkeying to make the grass greener, which would have made the Chelsea Grays purpler. Whatever works. :)
