Tiny as centerpiece for our traditional Beans-and-Franks triple birthday dinner. Note cast shadow of Finnish wooden horse on wall.
A triple birthday party at Goomp's tonight, and we were searching all over the house for some lovely centerpiece -- nothing much left in the garden flowerwise, although Martha Stewart, were she not incarcerated, would surely have worked magic with the bronzes and reds and yellows of the Japanese Barberry growing wild at the edges of the estate. Then up jumps the most beautiful pussycat ever was, and suddenly the table is worthy of a Martha Stewart Living (do they still have that?) cover.

Ah, yes. Another home (like ours) where pet hair is a condiment.

Funny you say that. Everytime I see my cat (a beautiful black male) (father's pride here lol) on top of a piece of furniture, I have the thought that he's adorning that place. Hahaha cats are so harmonius, so attractive, right? God bless :)
