Military discovers huge cashcow of WMDs

"Army Spc. Joe Roche has perhaps the harshest words yet for Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11," describing its impact on the morale of our troops deployed overseas as 'devastating,'" reports Amy Ridenour of National Center Blog [via Charles Johnson's Little Green Footballs]:
Michael Moore's film, "Fahrenheit 9/11," is making the rounds here at U.S. bases in Kuwait. Some soldiers have received it already and are passing it around. The impact is devastating.
Here we are, soldiers of the 1st Armored Division, just days from finally returning home after over a year serving in Iraq, and Moore's film is shocking and crushing soldiers, making them feel ashamed. Moore has abused the First Amendment and is hurting us worse than the enemy has.
From what I've heard from the soldiers, the things that have them most shocked and upset them are the connections Moore makes between the Bush family and the Bin Ladens. The impression is that Bush is part of a conspiracy that supported the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Charles Johnson's readers are all over this story in his comments section. Drew, for example, had this to say:
My wife just got a call from her best friend who lives 2,000 miles away and is ordinarily a very bright woman. She just saw the Moore film, and she was greatly swayed by it. Hitler would be proud of Moore and his propaganda. It's working. I can't believe that otherwise honest and intelligent people would buy these lies, but they are. Maybe Michael is right and American's are stupid. Stupid enough to reward him with $100 million for making propaganda that Adolf himself would have cheered.
Help! Help! I'm surrounded by useful idiots!
They may not have found a huge cache of WMD's in Iraq yet, but right here stateside there's a huge cashcow of a weapon of mass destruction, Mr. Moore himself. With Osama & Company, the weapons of choice range from flying our own planes into skyscrapers to chemical, biological and nuclear attacks on a physically vulnerable citizenry. With Moore, the target is a mentally vulnerable -- intellectually challenged? -- citizenry, and the weapon of choice is the mass distribution of truth-free flockumentaries.

The impact is devastating.
Meaning: Moore is winning. That's what he wanted. I cannot describe how frustrated I am feeling, and have for DECADES, at the indolence and laziness of Republican politicians in the realm of political propaganda. For example, after MONTHS of publicity for Moore's film, only now we can see lame attempts to counteract Moore's attacks. President Bush is doing almost NOTHING to counter the media. How much could he say if only he cared to address his fellow Americans DIRECTLY, so that the media would HAVE TO give him the rostrum. But no... "Kinder and gentler."

Interesting how Americans feel that Moore is attacking them... He is simply telling y'all that your per-si-dent is COMPLICIT in 911... something the rest of the world finds less than shocking... Come on, folks, he lost the election, he got to be president anyway, and... well, when the guy who lost gets the White House, all bets are off, n'est pas? Mark my words here, y'all: GWB cannot steal another election, and Rumsfeld and Co. are not about to give up power. Anybody want to take odds on a catastrophy in the days leading up to Nov. 4? Such a catastrophy that y'all may just have to forego the election entirely...

You've got the Democrat talking points down pat, sir. Do you have any thoughts of your own?
